
Rabbi Zahavit Shalev explores some of the central themes within the Book of Bamidbar
Zahavit Shalev is a rabbi at New North London Synagogue and also the rabbi at New Essex Masorti Synagogue. At NNLS she runs the conversion programme, and organises provision for young families. She received semichah (ordination) in 2019 from Leo Baeck College where she wrote her rabbinic theses on Jewish thought about sleep.
She loves feminist Biblical and Talmud criticism, reading polemical non-fiction books, 90% dark chocolate, and singing with other people.
